Filming Year 3's Pirate Adventure Show

Year 3 pulled together incredibly well to perform their show ‘Adventure at Pirate Boarding School’.  The show was filmed so that parents, grandparents and siblings could enjoy the show at home.

The story is about two pirate children sent off to a Pirate Academy to perfect their skills. Each pirate child is represented by two actors: one who plays the child and the other who plays their thoughts. At first, the pirate staff seem delightful, but the children uncover a corrupt plot to steal information about their parents' treasures!

Mrs Cousens wrote: "I am delighted to present a filmed version of ‘Adventure at Pirate Boarding School’.  With the number of pupils available, all of Year 3 merged into one enormous production of this exciting pirate adventure, with Mrs Pitman's class doing marvellously well to undergo a morning workshop to learn how they could be a part of Mr Halliday's class's play. All of the pupils did incredibly well to pull together this filmed production in such a short space of time and I would like to thank all of the pupils for their approach to this incredible and fun challenge.

Martin Barker said: "It is impressive to watch this year group put on a wonderful play, especially in the circumstances.  We are all really proud of them."
