We believe that a child’s experience is significantly enhanced when they board. We have full, weekly and part-time boarders and children board in Year 3 - 8. We currently have around 100 boarders.

We have enjoyed welcoming all our boarders back to Westbourne House for the new academic year.
We have taken all reasonable steps and undertaken rigorous planning to prepare for the safe re-opening of boarding. This includes adopting the BSA Covid-Safe Charter, which sets out a series of practical measures that include and go beyond statutory requirements to ensure that boarding is a safe environment for pupils.
We are delighted to have the boarding community back together again.
For us, boarding is centred on the idea of ‘family’. We know that in order for children to be successful, they need to feel happy and relaxed. We create a safe and supportive environment for our children, in order for them to develop into caring, self-reliant, confident individuals. We expect our boarders to support one another, to be kind, considerate and respectful and we work with our children to build a strong community spirit.
