"Our Year 2 instrumental concert was, as ever, a lovely occasion," said Mr Dichmont, Director of Music.
It was this year group's first public performance to a friendly audience of peers and parents.
Mr Dichmont explained: "They have all have been learning the recorder in class and some of them have already started learning other instruments too. In the concert we heard a wonderful wide range of instruments from fife, flute and violin, to cello, guitar, piano, singing and even the Chinese zither (the guzheng)."
Each pupil stepped forward, performed with quiet assurance and embraced the experience.
Well done to all of Year 2 for such a positive and memorable start to their musical journeys.
