Harvest Festival services

Thank you to our children and parents for their generous Harvest Festival donations at our Harvest Festival services. Your donations are going to two brilliant charities UKHarvest and Stonepillow. We are very grateful for your kind support.

Our Pre-Prep and Junior Harvest Festival Service reminded everyone how lucky and thankful we are for the food and crops we have. From our nursery children to pupils in Year 4, everyone raised the roof with their joyful harvest songs and poems. Here our Reception pupils sing out Big Red Combine Harvester.

We also welcomed parents from Years 5 - 8 to our Harvest Festival Service at Chapel led by Reverend Trevor Marshall, St Andrew's Church, Oving.

Thank you again for the generous donations going to these fabulous charities:

UKHarvest provides much-needed assistance to charities and vulnerable people by collecting surplus food from all types of food providers and delivering it directly to charities. They also provide online free courses and tips on their website to reduce food waste. Their network of Pop-Up Pantries in and around Chichester are widely supported by families and individuals on tight budgets and they are doing everything they can to ensure that no one who needs food goes hungry. They also work closely with the Sussex Food Banks to ensure that food is available across all sites and includes fresh produce too.

Stonepillow is a local charity that provides many services for local homeless and vulnerable people. Throughout all of their services, they provide over 23,360 meals a year for their clients.
