After a low key morning, the weekend boarders headed off to Lancing to the Indoor Go Karting Grand Prix.
After an ice cream and a blustery walk along the seafront in search of kite surfers ... the driving began! Following a 30 minute training regime, the boarders sped around a challenging track, with tunnels and bridges, on high speed karts - many of them having a go for the first time.
There were many audacious overtaking manoeuvres at high speed and lots of gamesmanship in the pit lanes. The driver of the day was beginner Blanca from Barcelona, who tore up the track with her fearless speed, courageous, hairpin bend turns and uncatchable driving down the home straight!
