I am fortunate to have worked at Westbourne House School for 7 years, joining as a Year One teacher in 2011. After 4 years in the roles of Director of Studies and Deputy Head of Pre-Prep, in 2018 I was appointed the Head of Pre-Prep.
I am passionate about ensuring that all children experience an exciting, engaging and enriching education, as I believe that their early educational years are of the utmost importance. I am delighted to be working with an enthusiastic, high-calibre staff dedicated to delivering this vision.
I gained an honours degree in French Language & Literature and subsequently worked for 12 years in the fields of communications, marketing and events for organisations such as The Body Shop. I retrained in 2009, focusing on Primary Education and Modern Languages, completing a PGCE qualification at the University of Chichester.
One of my favourite places to be when not at school is in the great outdoors: camping with friends, seeking out beaches or waiting for that special wave in the surf with my husband and son.
