Year 8 role models

Reading and work review with Year 8

Year 8 visited Year 4 to look at their work and to hear the younger ones read.  English teacher Mrs Sheldon said: ‘It’s so heartening to see the Year 8s in action. They are such a positive role models to the younger children, not only taking an interest in their work but getting to know them personally. It’s so lovely to see how proud the Year 4 children are of their work and how they want to show it to the big kids."

Year 4 teacher Miss Hannan added: “It’s always a lovely opportunity for our Year 4 children to show all their hard work for the term. They are so proud of what they have done and the Year 8s were very encouraging."

"We love coming to juniors to see their work; it’s wonderful to see how much they progress"
