Year 6 pupils become artists

Wigs, glasses, bandages for ears! Our Year 6 pupils were challenged to come to their art lesson dressed up as an artist of their choice. The children brought in clothes and accessories galore and went to great lengths to represent their artist.  Much fun was had guessing!

Mrs Jeram said: “Some children even spent time drawing artwork onto clothing at home for their photoshoot today. I was really impressed with the level of commitment these children put in to making this lesson a success.

“When the children were becoming their artists, they were also researching work and making decisions on what they wanted to use and take from their artist’s style. They are planning a final piece of work for their Summer Art Exhibition, I don’t want to give too much away, but it’s going to be a big impact piece,” Mrs Jeram added.
