Well done to a fine quartet of chess players, Max Sargent, Euan Cleallsmith, Charlie Keville and Penny Clarke who came together to represent Westbourne House in the first round of the U11 Primary Cup hosted by Windlesham on Thursday.
Our team played three matches each against some very experienced and seasoned chess players and we achieved one win and three draws in those matches. Well done to Euan who achieved a win in his first match against one of the Windlesham players. It was a great experience for our players and they will come back stronger and better for the next round of matches which will be some time in the New Year.
