Our Reception children are settling beautifully into life in the Pre-Prep!
Their topic this term is called ‘Something Special’ and during the summer holidays each child received a welcome letter from their new teacher inviting them to put together a special box to share with their friends. As well as talking about the special objects they also chose one item to paint from the box as well. We have also painted self portraits and drawn pictures of ourselves in our super smart school uniforms.
Next up was our 'Something Special' day. The children celebrated their special day by wearing their favourite clothes to school, baking scrumptious apple and blackberry tarts and even exploring the school climbing wall! Thank you to sports teacher Miss Parrot for making this possible. The children have many other special surprises to look forward to as the term progresses and we will be sharing these with you all in due course!
