Pancake races at playtime and pancakes for dessert - what a wonderful day for our pupils!
Head of Pre-Prep, Mrs Oglethorpe, said: “It was brilliant fun for the children and staff to have pancake races at school today. I talked to the children in assembly about why Christians celebrate pancake day around the world and then I asked them if they wanted to pancake race and guess what – they said yes!”
The Pre-Prep teaching team ran the first race to explain how it worked and then they were off! And don’t worry our Prep School pupils did not miss out - they had pancakes for lunch too!
