Our Pre-Prep celebration

Year 2 pupils are prepared for the Prep School

To celebrate the end of their time in our Pre-Prep, Year 2 pupils led a concert which celebrated each and every child in our Pre-Prep and all of their achievements.

"The children worked tirelessly to learn their lines, dances and songs and on the day there was a great sense of energy and excitement in the room."

Mrs Temple, Year 2 teacher

The theme of their performance was resilience, perseverance and hard work, which aligns closely with Westbourne House's HPL (high-performance learning) ethos.

Dressed in their colourful 'graduation' t-shirts, the children kicked off their performance with a fantastic dance to the song 'I will get back up again'.

This concert was an amazing fusion of song, dance and percussion, all of which celebrated our children's wonderful enthusiasm for learning.

"It is always special to recognise the children's progression from Nursery to the end of Year 2. Everyone showed great confidence in their performances and loved performing to the audience as they celebrated their time in the Pre-Prep," Mrs Temple explained.

"Although there was some nostalgia for their time in the Pre-Prep, the Year 2 children are incredibly excited to continue their school journey. We know they will go far."
