Having learnt about various instruments of the orchestra in their music lessons, Years 3 and 4 loved having the opportunity to see a professional orchestra, Southern Pro Musica, at Chichester Festival Theatre.
They heard beautiful music by Rossini, Strauss and Tchaikovsky, to name but a few, along with a specially written song by the conductor, Jonathan Willcocks. The children came away feeling very inspired, so who knows which instruments they might learn to play in the future.
