Year 8 put on a spectacular performance of Matilda in just eight days! They brought so much energy to the stage and the story of Matilda magically came to life.
It was a feat of teamwork and of hard work and passion for music and drama, as well as skills in backstage management, sound and lighting.
During rehearsals, the cast and our Year 8 Matilda enjoyed meeting Old Westbournian, Kitty Peterkin, who played Matilda on stage in the West End when she was in Years 5 and 6. Thank you to Kitty for her tips and encouragement.
