A dozen pupils from our school orchestra enjoyed an inspiring day of music-making at Lancing College at their annual Wind Band Day. Rehearsals were interspersed with visits to the school’s farm and tuck shop. The day culminated in an open rehearsal for parents in the magnificent school chapel, where the music included Strauss’s Radetzky March.
It is always a worthwhile experience for our musicians to perform with their peers at other schools, and the day was very much enjoyed by all who attended.
