A trip to Marwell Zoo provided plenty of inspiration for our pupils as they began imagining the critters they could bring to life in their next art project.
Inspired by Gustavo Ramirez Cruz's colourful, mesmerizing world of Bestiario, our Year 5 pupils will be imagining their own critters.
The first stage took place at the zoo, observing real animals, taking inspiration from their shapes, features and characteristics.
Having observed and sketched, our Year 5 pupils are now busy making their own compendium of wonderful critters out of papier mâché.
We look forward to seeing the wonderful and unusual creatures they create.
