The magic of Christmas began with our much-loved Westbourne House tradition - the Christmas Feasts. Our pupils across the ages and stages were treated to a delicious Christmas lunch, complete with Christmas crackers, turkey, chocolate pudding, treats and party games.
For our youngest pupils in the Pre-Prep, this was followed by their Christmas play - “Knock, Knock” - where they shone brilliantly and brightly, dancing and singing with glorious enthusiasm, melting the audience’s hearts. Our Pre-Prep and Year 3 and 4 pupils also shared in the magic of Christmas when a very special visitor arrived - thank you Santa for making our day extra special.
In the Prep School, Christmas festivities continued for Years 3-6 with a beautiful solo performance in the Carol Service, followed by evening feasts for our older pupils, who wore their hugely creative festive masks and hats. Thank you to the staff teacher waiters, our brilliant catering team and to our Headmaster, for such fun party games.
This year, a new Westbourne House tradition was launched - decorate your teacher! The children were in charge of the outfits and decorations. Our teachers then had to model their Christmas decorations on our Christmas catwalk - the clapometer decibel level was off the scale. The children screamed with glee! And our teachers gave the children a priceless Christmas gift: laughter and a forever memory!
