Inspirational Speaker: Phoebe Perry
We were delighted to welcome Old Westbournian Phoebe Perry, who returned to share how she nurtured the spark of an idea into an incredible, original musical - VOTE The Musical.
Our pupils' eyes widened and they were were captivated to discover that Phoebe was once sitting where they are now, and that the thinking behind her project began during her time at Westbourne House.
Phoebe broke down her journey into little steps, from starting the musical without knowing yet how to create the songs, to the determined way she fundraised to get the musical to Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
Her story was a powerful reminder of what it means to trailblaze: to take an idea, be brave enough to begin and keep going even when the path isn’t clear. She's still doing this today.
