County and National Championships

We had 45 pupils from Years 6-8 qualify for the Sussex County Championships at the K2 and from this 13 pupils qualified for National School Athletics Championship. During this county round, four pupils broke four school records: Jack Skinner (discus), Juliette Franks (shot), Francesca Aston (triple jump) and Fleur Hill (300m).  Plus Jack, Juliette and the Girls U14 relay team were crowned county champions.

At the National School Athletics Championship, 13 Westbourne House pupils represented Sussex.  A particularly big 'well done' to Jack S who came home with a bronze medal for the discus with a new PB and new school record!
