Weekend of fun and connection

Mr Allum led the boarders on a fun-filled weekend designed to help new and returning boarders bond.  Mr Allum is the Assistant Director of Music and is one of many staff at Westbourne House who live in the school's grounds. Mr Allum reported happily that the new boarders were "settling in incredibly well’’.

The weekend kicked off with a scenic walk through Cowdray Park, followed by hot chocolate and lively chats at the Farm Shop café. Later, everyone settled into comfy cinema seats in Portsmouth to watch "Wonka and the Chocolate Factory" with popcorn and treats.

Another of the weekend's highlights was a Lego building competition where teams worked together to create the tallest free-standing structure. Laughter and friendly competition filled the air!

The weekend fostered a sense of community; new and returning boarders mingled and got to know each other, ensuring everyone felt welcome. Mr Allum, seeing the happy faces and new friendships, knew his mission was a success.
