The Nursery and Pre-Nursery children have been celebrating Chinese New Year: the year of the pig.
The children enjoyed taking it in turns to dress up as a Chinese dragon and performing a dragon dance for their friends. Many of the children have thoroughly enjoyed practising their fine motor scissor skills by making Chinese lanterns which look fantastic hung up in the nursery. We also asked the question: can you eat with chopsticks? We had a taste of some rice, noodles, soy sauce and prawn crackers. It was a delicious Chinese food-themed snack time!
