Maths trip to Portfield Primary School
Four of our Year 4 mathematicians were chosen to attend the AIM High mathematics day run by Andrew Jeffery the Mathemagician.
Head of Maths, Mrs Langford, said: “The day was intended to stretch and encourage mathematical thinking. ‘The true measure of intelligence is not what you know, but how you behave when you don’t know’”.
“This day left our brains hurting as we puzzled over maths questions with multiple answers, had fun playing with numbers and learnt how to be Maths Ninjas!”
