Singer promotes mental health

As heard on Capital FM and BBC Radio 1… we were so excited to welcome singer-songwriter Meek, who gave our Year 6, 7 and 8 pupils a stunning live performance and so much more.

Through honest storytelling, she shared her personal experiences of bullying and cyberbullying and, crucially, gave pupils practical tools to protect their own mental wellbeing.

"I was delighted that the children received such practical, empowering advice. Meek helped them recognise the physical and mental signs of unhealthy screen habits and reminded them of the importance of listening to themselves and not to the negativity of others. The messages were incredibly powerful and Meek’s amazing songs made the experience so special."

Mrs Brown

We are hugely grateful to Meek, who took a break in her schedule to visit Westbourne House School and had to leave directly for BBC interviews in the afternoon and a film premiere in the evening!
