Miss Fisher was met by a very excited reaction when she broke the news to our Year 5s that they are published authors!
The Young Writers book ''Peculiar Pets' arrived yesterday and included poems by 22 of our Year 5s.
Our Head of English, Alice Fisher, said: "We are so proud of our young poets, and what wonderful timing. It was lovely to be able to celebrate their creativity in person in the classroom on this first week back. Year 5 (like all our students) have worked so hard over lockdown that it was brilliant for them to see their diligence and resilience rewarded in this way."
