Reception children went for a picnic down by the lake, which set the scene perfectly for discussions about water safety in preparation for the summer holidays.
The children have also been exploring the woods, building dens and playing with the wands they made - they are wonderfully colourful as you will see in the pictures.
Back in the classroom, they made and played their own maths games, which was enormous fun.
Following on from the excitement of making and flying paper aeroplanes, the children made paper boats and thoroughly enjoyed their experimental tests to see which would sail well.
