Drama Club is a fun-filled club for Years 5 and 6 where pupils build confidence, develop their voices, facial expression, body language and have a great time while at the same time learning about a variety of theatre and drama skills.
In these photos, the children were using physical theatre: first they created a forest and within the forest was a castle, and within the castle was a goblin king surrounded by his acolytes. Also within the castle were prisoners that want to escape…. and you can see them escaping – phew!
There are also photos of robbery scenarios in The Heist. They explored voice, character and body and practised using the stage effectively.
