Mazes and Brazilian food spice up boarding weekend

The boarders enjoyed an exciting weekend outing to Port Solent and a farm with houseparents Mr and Mrs Smith.

The trip began with slap up meal in Casa Brasil on the boardwalk at Port Solent, where they serve delicious barbecued food rodizio-style.  We were impressed the children were up for trying everything including the kangaroo and fried plantain!

Next we set off for Staunton Country Park with its friendly farm. The children had a wonderful time introducing themselves to all manner of animals, including a baby alpaca and an enormous cow who liked cuddles!

Everyone certainly burnt off their lunch with a run through the park maze!  We returned to school for a well-earned rest.
