Krypton Factor with the boarders

The boarding community has had a great term, making the most of many of the wonderful indoor facilities we have here at Westbourne House. They have been cooking, doing craft activities, playing in the sports hall and squash courts, doing talent shows in the Millennium Hall, relaxing in the library and having very competitive board game nights!  You might also like to see a few of our pancake making photos from February below!

Our full-time and weekend boarders have also been out and about on diverse weekend trips organised by members of staff.

They went on an exciting adventure to recreate The Krypton Factor TV show with Head of Drama, Mr Cousens. The venue was the beautiful Queen Elizabeth Country Park, where they had great fun being put through a series of difficult obstacles and challenges. Flying through monkey bars, scramble nets and along zip wires, there were many that appeared they were ready for a career in the military!

Other outings included a visit to Petworth House's incredible and expansive deer and pleasure park, and then, in contrast to this historical venue, they enjoyed the high-energy slipping, sliding and climbing of a play zone.

Next term, as the evenings get lighter and warmer, we are looking forward to getting outside in our amazing grounds. With over 100 children boarding next term it is bound to be busy and fun!
