Inaugural Virtual Concert

Our inaugural Friday afternoon concert took place this time last week.

Every Friday, Mr Dichmont is hosting a Zoom Concert for pupils whose teachers have put them forward to perform. Usually, concerts take place at school regularly to give children the chance to share their music with fellow pupils and family and to build performance experience.   Last week’s audience of about thirty people listened to a whole variety of instruments, from piano to singing, homemade percussion ensembles to a video of Mr Berkley’s family entertaining their whole street during Thursday’s Clap For Our Carers.

It was fantastic to sit back and enjoy the music. Staff and pupils: you can come and listen to today’s concert! At 3.15pm, use the below Zoom link to join us (only works with Westbourne House school email addresses).

Despite lockdown, our musicians are still practising their instruments at home, with hundreds of Zoom lessons taking place during the week.
