IAPS U11 tournament at Westbourne House

We were delighted to host the IAPS U11 Football Tournament at Westbourne House.  It was a true festival of football in spite of the weather, which really did give us all four seasons in one day!

Over 100 Under-11 boys from Highfield School, Bedales School, Portsmouth Grammar Junior School, Aldro School, Twyford School, Ardingly College, Dorset House, Bournemouth Collegiate School and Westbourne House played in the IAPS qualifying tournament.

Referees on the day included our staff, visiting staff, referees from the University of Chichester and Jason Dodd former Southampton FC footballer and now head of football at Winchester College.

Mr Dodd said: "This is what football is about - loads of children, loads of matches and everyone enjoying the football with smiles on their faces in spite of the horrendous weather. Congratulations on a fabulous tournament!"

In the mud and the rain, Aldro School were crowned winners of the IAPS tournament and Dorset House School were runners-up. Thank you all for coming, we hope to see you soon.
