Year 4 visited the Living Rainforest, close to Newbury, to help bring their Amazing Amazon topic to life.
The children loved seeing a stunning range of flora and fauna and enjoyed an expert-led guided tour looking at how the plants and animals have adapted to living in the rainforest. They also gained understanding and knowledge about the different tropical rainforest layers and which plants and animals grow and thrive within them.
It was an eye-opener on a fascinating and beguiling world and the fun and excitement was written all over the children's faces.
