Fawlty Towers Restaurant Experience hits the stage

Fawlty Towers Restaurant Experience was nothing short of brilliant: a joyful mix of comedy skits, standout solos and a fabulous 70s vibe that lit up the whole evening.

The show brought together two unique elements of Westbourne House: firstly, that our shows are about everyone. Every pupil has a part, every pupil has a go and every pupil grows from the experience. Year 7's show was a perfect reflection of that spirit.

It was, secondly, a stunning community event, full of laughter, energy and Westbourne sparkle.

“It was our first Westbourne House production and we were completely blown away from start to finish… the talent, confidence, energy and hard work truly shone through. What a show.”

Our Head of Drama summed it up perfectly:

“It’s a brilliant format that allows every pupil to shine… full credit to our parents for creating the 70s atmosphere, and to our pupils for a hilarious, fabulous show.”

Ed Cousens, Show Director

Huge congratulations to all our Year 7 performers - you were truly outstanding and to Mr Cousens, Show Director and Head of Drama. A huge thank you to the team of parents whose makeup skills worked their magic to add those final transformational touches. Thank you to our costume designer, Faith Thomas, who transformed pupils into the crazy characters dreamed up by John Cleese and Connie Booth.

“What a night for all the Year 7s, they were absolutely brilliant! The confidence, the comedy, the timing… they totally owned the stage.”
