Fabulous Fathers' Day

It was lovely to welcome lots of daddies to school on Friday for our Fabulous Fathers’ Day.

In our Reception class, we all worked hard to create a portrait of our daddies and had great fun playing the ‘Guess the Daddy’ game!

In Year 1 we had a fabulous time in the woods.  It was lovely to see both dads and children hunting for minibeasts, giggling and climbing trees. We are sure that the resident minibeasts will love their very own ‘Buggingham Palace’ in the woods. We were lucky with our finds which included a very impressive stag beetle, a baby toad and a newt!

The fathers and children in Year 2 had such fun together, playing rounders. There were some brilliant catches from the children and some drops from the daddies that are best forgotten.  We also had a competition to make the best paper aeroplane, again with mixed results!

Thank you to all who came!
