Every year we use the Christmas trees in Main House and Pre-Prep as a focal point to help less advantaged children in our local community.
This year, we were overwhelmed with the response to our appeal for items for local schools that need support. The schools, from Leigh Park, Chichester and Selsey, had asked for items to help their children enjoy an enhanced learning experience at school, such as tennis rackets, books, ride on toys, gardening equipment, skipping ropes and cricket bats. Other items such as coats, hats and wellies, were also requested, and these will be donated directly to the children that need them.
A very big thank you to everyone who donated. Staff collecting the donations from the local schools were delighted and asked us to pass on their grateful thanks, saying it will make a real difference to the children’s lives.
