Chapel Choir trip to Vienna

Over the years, the choir has been fortunate to travel to many incredible destinations and perform in some remarkable venues, and this year was certainly no exception. Performing at three of the city's largest and most prestigious venues; the Peterskirche, the Karlskirche and the magnificent Cathedral. The choir were in their element enjoying the vast acoustics and the appreciation of the large audiences. 

It wasn't all work and no play, the pupils took time exploring Prater Park, the city's very own theme park. They had a blast at a museum of illusions where they experienced a mind-boggling magic show; at the Haus der Musik, where the story of Classical music was told through various interactive exhibits; and at a magnificent light show held at the Votivkirche, another of the city's huge churches, which told the story of creation through sound and vision. There was also plenty of time for shopping, too! As has become customary with our choir tours, we were very pleased to see so many parents enjoying the sights and sounds of Vienna, too.
