We enjoyed receiving many outstanding entries for the Seven Heaven Project - a challenge in which Year 7 pupils had to film Jamie Oliver-style instructional healthy recipe videos in their own homes. Our celebrity judge, Mrs Julie Bonn, has kindly delivered her verdict below; a task she has described as incredibly difficult given the quality of the submitted videos!
"I was so proud of all of the Year 7 pupils whilst watching the footage. They really are a talented and dedicated bunch! The winners were:
Nicholas's Peruvian Stuffed Potatoes: I thought the footage was witty, the music captivating and with great instructions and visuals. The dish was unusual and overall it came across as very professional.
Coco's Honey and Soy Salmon: The presenter came across confidently and her skills were well executed with clear instructions. She had a lovely balanced and nutritious dish with great footage and presentation.
They were closely followed by the runners up; Josie, Elizabeth and Emily. Special commendations go to Archie and Alex too for their delicious looking recipes."
