Message from Headmaster Mr Barker: "Last term completed my tenth year as Headmaster at Westbourne House School. It has been a decade of incredible change, development and progress which has presented many challenges - not least a pandemic, which has certainly made it a year to remember!
"However, as I look back on the last ten years, I am incredibly proud of all that has been achieved and how the school is looking, both physically and mentally, in 2021! A school head is only as good as his or her staff and the pupils who attend. Without doubt, it is the huge commitment of staff and pupils to being the best they can be that lifts Westbourne House and our iconic team spirit high above many others. And for that I am enormously grateful - to lead such an outstanding team is a great privilege.
"I have wondered how best to mark this decade of change and how far we have come, and I have always wanted to be able to share a bird’s eye view of our school. So today, I am launching this fantastic pupil-led tour with stunning views from the sky and our glorious grounds. A tour which reflects the magic and the hard work that combine at Westbourne to create a school life of enduring memories that prepares all our pupils for life ever after."
