My two children and I began our Westbourne experience together back in 2008. They have long since moved on and here I still am. It's a wonderful environment in which to work, and the people - children and staff alike - make it a pleasure to go to work.
My background is: Classics degree from Bristol; teaching in rural Pakistan for a year; drama school, leading to a short acting career. After moving to Sussex, I blew the dust off my Latin and was lucky enough to find myself teaching again (Arabesque, Lavant House, private tutoring). Latin is like brain gym and many of the kids who start it with concerns ('Latin's going to be hard! What's the point anyway?') end up loving the mental twists and turns and fun facts they pick up on the way.
I am also a Y7/8 form tutor.
