Get active and try something new at our Sports Fun Day, for children aged 3 to 11.

We warmly invite you and your children to our Sports Fun Day and Open Morning. The morning will feature a series of inspiring active workshops led by our friendly specialist coaches and teachers, as well as providing an opportunity for prospective parents and children to get to know members of the Westbourne House community.

For children aged 5 to 11, one-hour workshops will run from 9-10am and 10:30-11:30am. Workshops for children aged 3 to 4 will run for 30 minutes at 9.15am and 10.45am. Lunch will be provided at 12pm.

REGISTRATIONS ARE NOW CLOSED. There are still some spaces in some workshops available, which you can sign up for on Saturday morning. Please email events@westbournehouse.org or call 01243 782739 if you'd like to join.

Activities
9am for ages 8-11

Hockey: join former international player Jamie Whitehouse for a go at hockey on our astro.

Rugby: (ages 5-7 only available) enjoy a rugby session with our Sports coaches.

Football: enjoy a football session with our Sports coaches.

Netball: coached by our Head of Girls' Sport.

Cricket: coached by ex- county cricketer and Head of Boys' Sport.

Canoeing: explore our lake by boat, with our qualified instructors and our partners at Cobnor Activities Centre.   

Orienteering: (ages 5-7 only available) navigate from point to point around the grounds of the school.

Golf: pick up some tips from our Goodwood Golf instructors.

Climbing: (FULL) reach new heights on our climbing wall.

Lacrosse: grab a stick and have a go at fast-moving lacrosse!

Workshops for children aged 3 to 4

Workshops for children aged 3 and 4 will run for thirty minutes at 9.15am and 10.45am.

Activities for the children will be available during the times when they are not in a workshop.

Forest Activities
Enjoy a series of active nature-based activities in our friendly forest.
Canoeing
Explore our lake by boat, with our qualified instructors and our partners at Cobnor Activities Centre.
Obstacle Course
Try out a series of challenges in our sports hall.
Ball Skills
Have a go with a variety of different ball skills.

Dance
Get physically creative in our dance session.

 

Parent Activities

Parents may choose to go along to watch their children in their activity, to relax in our chill out room, or to join in with other parents going for a jog at 9.15am or a walk at 11.45am, or doing a short yoga session with Niki Perry (www.nikiperryyoga.com) at 9.15am.
